Venturing deeper into Carteine station, we find signs of the Xeno infestation.
Liesl and Tybalt argued over whether the ship could be salvaged and flown again. Tybalt was more doubtful that the ship would fly again.
Tybalt tried to hack into the station to look into the surveillance system, but because it’s an inquisition station, the systems were very separate and paranoid about people using the system, lots of isolated systems.
Dariel used his awesome psychic power to heal the fleshy bodies of the meat shields.
Tybalt hacked into the computer system and found that they are near to the Xeno Warp Combinatorics laboratory, and he immediately came in his pants.
They found an orc trap, and Priss almost stepped into it, but Liesl stopped her – and she went around it, then stepping into the actual trap. Rubble fell down from the ceiling.
Priss and Tord were trapped under rubble, through Priss powered her way out of it, just tossing rubble out of the way. There are orks hiding behind giant riot shield chunks of metal, shooting rokkits from behind them. Dariel charges in using the warp to form hammer hands, smashing through their shield, Liesl fires giant plasma bursts, blasting through their guard.
They smash through the orks guarding the lab and enter into the xeno warp lab. There they see all the failed experiments, mostly attempts to graft arms onto different body parts, inside tubes with ‘failure’ spray painted on the side.
They do also find inside, a gretchen in an exoskeleton type suit, with techpriest like mechadendrites on it (more open than a killa kan they fought earlier). There seems to be a ‘dok’ ork of some kind working on it.
There is also another gretchen in a wheelchair, with both arms and legs amputated, but with imperial interface connections from him to the wheelchair.
