Given all of the options of where to go on the rail system, they go to Pod Vamren, which seems to be an armory of sorts which manufactures weapons and other things. They get off the tram and block the door open. A tiny tim sort of kid sees them coming out of the doors and says ‘The Builders!’ and starts to run off to tell people. Tord intimidates him and convinces him to kneel down.
He is very excited that they are the Builders, and seems like he can’t keep a secret, so they convince him to drink some booze and get rid of him. They head toward the industrial noises and find a spider-mine manufacturing line.
They talk to a woman on the manufacturing line and manage to convince her that they are from another pod ‘Elbereth’, and they manage to convince her to give them some spider mines and grenades.
The spider mines seem to have a couple settings, they can be attracted to motion or heat, but have no other real targeting capabilities built in.
They take the car to the spaceport door control room, but the car comes to a halt earlier than expected, as there is another car blocking the line. It stops just above a factory line. There seem to be people attached to mechadendrites below them, some obviously heretical creations. The car blocking the rail also has one of these technical monstrosities, standing on the open platform, carrying a heavy flamer.
Plans for next time – do we want to try to ram through that car? Transfer onto it? Blow it up? Kill all the heretics and take our time? Pull the one ridiculous lever that drops the car off the rail? The servitors on the bottom floor have heavy bolters. There are also some dangling from the ceiling that have chain axes. There is also a kind of container with an aperture on the top, sitting on the factory floor. Two servo skulls seem to pop out of the top, but on closer inspection they are some kind of flying spider mine.
