Liesel wants to continue to collapse the pod, Tybalt argues they should be more judicious and only kill the tainted children. While arguing, a new small child (Harrish) comes up and asks Mr. Space Marine to come with them, he seems to be a ‘null’, or someone who repulses the warp and psychic powers. Dariel feels very unnerved around him. Tybalt tries to make friends with him and gain his trust.
They don’t find anyone else there to save, the adults all have some kind of creature in them and are non responsive, so they decide to collapse the pod to be on the safe side. Tybalt asks Harrish if he’s been to any other pods, it seems like he came from another farming pod, and had to come to this pod after the fighting started, due to some attacks.
Tybalt tried to connect a little more with Harrish, and learn about his time in the pod, and whether he had ever used weapons before. He seemed to have grown up as an outcast due to his null abilities. Tybalt asked for him to serve as his eyes if an emergency arose. Liesel kept harassing him, to try to be like the little brother that he never had.
Liesel snuck Harrish a gun after that. Actually he only had a lasgun, but we retconned it into a las pistol.
Retcon – Liesel performed funeral rites on all of the printing presses in the pod.
Behind them, a car arrived at pod bartriss, and they skedaddled out of the way.
Tybalt tried to build up expectations for Harrish, telling him to be prepared for lies and deceit from all angles, but to remain steadfast to his belief in the Anointed Hour, where the space marines would come down from above and smash the surfacers. He is trying to twist Harrish’s beliefs into a form that would be validated by what they are going to do, that the guard will be the ‘space marines’ and the cultists would be the ‘surfacers’.
The general structure of the spaceport bay is that the bay itself is huge, multiple football fields large. At the top of that room hooked on to the ceiling is the control room, which would contain the controls for the door. Both rooms are directly accessible from the monorail system. The bay contains the large cultist circle to Tzeentch that Tybalt identified earlier, and for which he gained some insanity.
We are looking at blimp house, but on the inside. The monorail comes down from the ceiling of the large bay, next to the control room at the top. We see a bunch of normal soldiers inside. Liesel wants to blow out the floor from under them. It’s not technology, it’s buildings!
